This concert is dedicated to the wonderful talent that exists from all over the Northwest, including music by several Walla Walla Valley composers. The Concert Band will perform works by Walla Walla residents Glen Mitchell and Jared Barr, as well as Spokane Native Frank Erickson, Daniel Bukvich who has taught at the University of Idaho since 1976 - originally hailing from Montana and Columbia Gorge resident Steve Hodges. The Sax Quartet will premiere two works and the Jazz groups will combine for a special tribute to longtime Walla Walla Valley Bands musician Clifton Friday.
