The Jazz Program continues to grow and balances the Jazz Combos offered during the school day. Members and students are placed into ensembles based on the needs of the organization and desire of the individual to grow as a Jazz musician. Now supporting two complete Jazz groups, plans are underway to expand to include a third ensemble in the near future.

Main Street Jazz Band

This ensemble is open to all musicians with an interest in playing jazz, rock, latin and popular music outside the traditional Concert Band setting. There is no audition necessary; you only need to have a love of all things fun to participate. 

Mill Creek Jazz Ensemble

The Mill Creek Jazz Ensemble consists of a more traditional jazz band instrument setting of four trumpets, four trombones, five saxes and a ful rhythm section. Instrumentalists are placed into the group by the director to acheive a proper balance and to perform more advanced literature.
